Property managers and landlords invited to March 29 webinar on City’s Rental and Utility Relief Program

HONOLULU -- The Office of Economic Revitalization invites property managers, landlords, and the community to attend a webinar about updates to the City’s Rental and Utility Relief Program on March 29, 2022, from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

“The Rental and Utility Relief Program is foundational for an equitable recovery,” said Mayor Rick Blangiardi. “I am extremely proud that this vital program has helped more than 11,000 local families stay safely housed during these difficult times and injected more than $130 million into our recovery since starting last year.”

Amy Asselbaye, executive director of the Office of Economic Revitalization, noted, “We're grateful that thousands of property managers and landlords have been patient with their renters during these difficult times. Our goal is to work together with landlords to help keep local families safely housed, prevent unnecessary evictions, and bring more financial stability to landlords.”

The webinar will be live-streamed at the One Oahu Facebook page: facebook.com/OneOahu. No Facebook account is needed to watch and the webinar will be recorded and available on the One Oahu Facebook page as a community resource.

The City and County of Honolulu expects to invest $124 million into rent and utility support this year to support the community.

Community members who need an auxiliary aid/service or an interpreter for a language other than English for this webinar should contact the Office of Economic Revitalization at (808) 768-2330 on weekdays from 7:45 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. or oer@honolulu.gov.
